Reasons to Participate in 27th Rice Grain Pro Tech Expo 2023 and India Grain Mech Expo 2023 – Raipur (Chhattisgarh)


          Raipur (Chhattisgarh) is the central destination for states like Andhra Pardesh, Odisha, M.P., Mahrastra and is the biggest rice, wheat, pulses and poha trade center too. Chhattisgarh is the largest paddy production state in central India, which is also called the rice bowl of India, where hundreds of varieties of rice are grown; having more than 100 lakh tonnes of paddy production and it has more than 1700 rice mills. More than 70 lakh tonnes of paddy is produced in Odisha and it has the presence of more than 1000 rice mills.

          Maharastra has more than 600 rice mills with 60 lakhs tonnes paddy and it is one of the emerging grains milling market. Madhya Pradesh neighbour state of Chhattisgarh is now one of the paddy growing states in center India and it has more than 500 running rice milling units. More than 1000 pulses and soya units and more than 500 roller flour mills are running in whole central India. These all running rice, wheat, pulses, soya units are looking for new and advanced technology to upgrade their manufacturing, processing and packaging line. So, forthcoming 27th International Rice Grain Pro-Tech Expo 2023 will give the chance to the manufacturers to display the latest machinery in front of millers and to reduce the technology gap in processing as well as in supply chain.

          Our grain milling exhibition in Raipur will explore the rice, wheat, pulses and Poha industry of these states and will provide the biggest platform to all the grain milling manufacturers and it's allied industry from India and overseas. It will be the fifth such big grain tech exhibition in Raipur and will be a rare opportunity to explore this regional market. In central India state like Chhattisgarh, MP, Odisha and Maharastra are developing with rapid growth in last few years.

          To feed increasing domestic demand and also to achieve the export targets for food products, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Food Processing Industry and Agricultural and Processed Food products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Ministry of Commerce are investing a substantial share of the budget for promoting technological up-gradation and value addition in all segments of Rice/Wheat/Pulses/ Soya and all other food sectors.
