Lucknow is the central destination for states like UP, Uttrakhand, Bihar and is the big Rice & Dal trade centre too. There are several Daal manufacturing units in the local area of Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh is the third largest paddy production state in India, with the 220 lakh tonnes of paddy production and it has more than 4000 rice, dal and roller flour mills. More than 35 lakh tonnes of paddy is produced in Uttrakhand and it has the presence of more than 600 rice mills. Bihar has more than 2500 rice mills and is one of the emerging rice markets.

Forthcoming Rice & Grain Milling Exhibition in Lucknow is going to be held after the gap of three years. In February 2014, we organised the first edition in Lucknow at the same venue with 110 exhibitor from India, China, Germany, Turkey, Iran, Spain and Korea and the show was highly successful. Rice Miller, Dall Miller, Roller Flour Miller visited the show from entire Uttar Pradesh and neighbour states like Uttrakhand and Bihar. Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in India in terms of population, area and overall consumption with agriculture is its main backbone. A large number of new mills & units has come up in various parts of Uttar Pradesh & Uttrakhand in last three years after our 2014 show.
